Brazil needs

our help!

Since April, 27, communities in the state of Rio Grande          do Sul, Brazil, have been facing a climate emergency            due to devastating floods causing loss of human lives        and impacting vital infrastructure. This is the worst        situation the community has faced since 1941 when the  capital suffered a historic flood.

This tragedy has directly affected the YMCA facilities in Rio Grande do Sul, some staff members have lost their homes and the sports and recreation unit has been damaged. This affects directly the community since Porto Alegre is the city with the highest number of YMCA social services programs.

More than 100 deceased, 1.4 million affected, and 130 missing due to the heavy rains in Rio Grande do Sul.

With your donation, we can provide assistance and protection to the affected families.

Bear in mind that donations are made in US dollars (USD) and that the Latin American and Caribbean Alliance of YMCAs does not issue tax-deductible receipts.
